Something else will replace it. Nothing is forever especially us, something that doesn’t seem to be too understood these days.
Interesting that this was news today on BBC radio. You normally wouldn't hear a thing about bikes! Maybe because it's bad news for bikes, so the anti-bike BBC are happy!
I don’t disagree with the thrust of your post, but The headline sponsor has been Fonacab and Nicols oils for a while https://www.newsletter.co.uk/sport/...glenn-irwin-eyes-more-superbike-glory-3992384
I cancelled my ferry and accommodation today. I still hope it goes ahead for the future of road racing , but I’m afraid that my holidays are precious time off and I’m not dithering about with the is it on or off carry on , so I’m going to ride somewhere else for that week . I think in general it’s poor show to call it off and make it public before rescue package possibilities have been exhausted and there is no hope.
For me, I'd be more than happy to pay into road race events. I pay in at Oliver's mount and any of the circuits. Over the years I been to many many Irish events and always bought a programme as a souvenir and contribution to the event. Last time i were at the Ulster it were pay in, a wrist band was issued and I'd no issue with it. I'd much rather pay into the armoy / mid antrim / cookstown etc etc than have my wallet emptied at silverstone where i need binoculars to see the numbers and the atmosphere is flat compared to pukka road racing. That's just my opinion, most might not share it but if road racing is to survive something drastic will need to happen. I hope a resolution can be found, I'm not confident though.
This is another example of insurance companies (and lawyers) holding the public to ransom. There are noPublished data on their profits how they work out premiums
Id like to know whos making all these extra claims? Im not saying they dont but it cant surely be spectators or the riders themselves, which leaves owners of hedges??
Not good. I heard (not sure if true) but it also effects short circuit racing as well as the roads. A big cluster for the TT as the teams use the irish races as practice and set up for the the IoM.
