My termis and my clutch are 'only' 95 decibels without baffles in so it's not uncomfortably/unpleasant/painfully loud but people hear me before they see me.
I see some traffic parting ways ahead of me when filtering which I put down to loud pipes. Not all, of course, but some, and riding safe is a percentage game, and I'll take that marginal advantage.
I had a firestorm with yoshimura pipes and once passed a bloke and his girl who were on footpath , as i passed he dove into the hedge, mate behind said his girl was pishing herself laughing. Another time i was in a wee village and ahead was a guy lent under the bonnet of an old mgb car, i pulled the clutch and rolled up as i was level i just had to give it a big rev and watched him jump hitting his head, i almost pished myself. Im so sorry for being an arsehole.....am i feck.
