Magnet on a telescopic stalk for removing clutch plates. Found a really good one in Sainsburys the other day that just pulls the plates right out. Even works on alloy plates if they're sintered. Put the plates on the r/h footrest as they come out, then you can just put them back in in the order they came out with minimum fuss.
To protect the garage floor and back wheel, I use an old Pizza box (L) when cleaning and lubing chains
A piece of thin cable salvaged from an old garage door mechanism. Cleated loop at each end. Makes stretching springs to fit over a post (like side stand spring) dead easy Also works well as a garrote
