  1. Don’t worry, there is still plenty of cadmium, copper, nickel, lead and zinc in the Tawe, and shall be for years to come as it continues to leach out of the buried industrial waste.

  5. Crikey @Jolley a bit of grumbling online / social media is one thing but a print article (where presumably the legal counsel has given sufficient fireproofing to go to press) is a different matter.

No smoke without fire... and the flames are starting to be visible.

  6. Use less lube and rub harder. You'll soon smoke without any fire ;)

  7. It seems @Flatty was right in his response to my post #348 above. It reminds me of Robert Maxwell, which is not a good omen. I would imagine all those with pensions in any of the funds mentioned will be asking for a transfer out, I know I would, before there's nothing left. Oh dear.

  8. Just wondering if anyone who contributes to this page still has a deposit on one of these machines, also are any of you going to the NEC and if so will you be trying to get some answers from the Norton rep's as to what's going on? Is there any light at the end of the tunnel,or is it time to close the door on the thought of ever owning one of these "Dream Machines".

  9. I was all keyed up for trying to get the money together for a Domi Naked. Now I don’t think I could go there. It’s a shame as their bikes are lovely lookers... could I have £20k tied up in one? No. I would rather get a Classic Norton to experience the brand, and £20k goes a long way there.

  10. Some who use companies house might be able to explain? within the last 10 days there has been two amendments to Nortons filings but they seem unclear why?

    https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/06718623/filing-history

On the filing history it shows two applications for changes for the director but it seems the same chap ?

  11. @Gee Jay, yes I have a deposit in place, as does a friend who rarely looks on here.

@noobie, I think the filings were made by Simon, could be wrong. One of them looks like he has reset his correspondence address back to the companies one.

Supposedly (or should that be allegedly) the SSs are rushing out the doors, and RR production is imminent. Its been like that since May...

Having done a search for simon skinner (just out of interest), I've happened upon a norton enthusiasts group on linkedin. The group is owned by a guy in San Diego, nothing to do with the company. I've joined just to see if there is further info to be gleaned from there.

  12. It’s probably just an error Noob. If it were completed & filed online, which it probably was, whoever was doing it may have hit the file link prematurely.

What’s more concerning is the filing of 28/20 extending their financial year end by 5 months from 31/3 to 31/8 thus meaning the accounts for the year just ended don’t have to be filed, and made public, until the end of May next year. To me that smacks of having a serious problem preparing the accounts .

  13. Maybe Norton will be sold before May 2020?

  14. I thought it odd because it seemed at some point he moved it towards his home address and now he want's to make it legally recognised that his home and the business are no longer linked ?

  19. Maybe we should all buy one share then we can go to meetings and find out what’s going on?

  20. It says about crowdsource investment.

Is this method less bonafide than a regulated share scheme?
