I used to do the ring on the GS (surprisingly the water cooled is pretty quick) so every time I was over that way I'd head there for a lap or several, I never ever thought what if I bin it, I used to be like a junky in the carpark shaking like I'd shit myself seeing the mangled cars n bikes come back in, then I'd put my card into the barrier and off I'd go without a care in the world, having a race prepped car 2ft from your inside as you tuck in is fooking awesome as well as scary shite. You need to be alert, a car may look along way back then within secs its on your tail, tyres screaming as it drifts into the bend and ping it's gone, seriously fast motors .
Yeah well must be my suspicious mind . Not that there arent plenty of on track activities the paint proves that . I have also done hundreds of laps myself used to go for a week a year at least . Before the state of the art museam come shoping center was built . Always stay in the Blaue ecke in Adenau now but havent been for 3 years now. Weekends are the worst for danger though week days 5pm till 7 were always my favourite .
Even weeknights are fairly busy nowadays. And still with many closures, i've had 4 mates go down on fluids in the last 6 weeks in evening sessions. One other good friend out here smashed his mk1 rs2000 on oil 3 weeks ago, fortunately old cars are easy to beat out dents.
I remember being passed by the green jungle GTR, he wasn't hanging around either Some great shots from one of the guys who came with us; Chris from Photoworx Imagez.
I love the idea of going out on unusual bikes. I was all set to take my KTM until Jase joined me on his 1098s.
True haha I was enjoying myself but definately holding back compared to normal. I had no idea where I was going so I was being quite cautious and really having to concentrate.
do you think i can do a under 10 min lap first time ? in my car with my lady on board ,never seen the track or done it on play station ? oh car is 2006 911 targa s4 3.8
I wouldn't even try to be honest mate. Really isn't worth it. Treat it as a fast road, but understand that you will for the most part have no idea where you are going lol.
She did. But not on her first lap. Tenner says, using all the revs at your disposal no short shifting, you barely clear third
