Pretty sure this will happen as there are pictures of the bike being tested and it looks exactly the same. Nothing wrong with getting the juices flowing with some pre-release speculation, it’s just a shame this bike doesn’t really offer anything new, it’s just an updated Diaval. Where is the Streetfighter???
The new Diavel was the 1309 bike at Misano last weekend. There WILL be a V4 Streetfighter announced at EICMA in November.
SIX! You're optimistic. Everyone's talking about buying a V4 Streetfighter, when at the moment, it doesn't exist and you can't buy one. Wait until they are available, £4k dearer than other manufacturers are selling a similar bike for and watch peopple slink away. Should we start keeping a list?
20k is the new 16k didnt you get the memo ? 18.5k for the non S 22.5 for the S sounds about right to me
People are picking up fully loaded Tuono’s and SuperDuke’s for <16k, not sure anyone could justify the extra cash for a Duc. Clearly this is all hypothetical
This is where its all going sky high....and why im happy to stay in the sub 10k camp....sorry but that initial pic is a classic case of Ducati missing the fucking boat...again....they should have (years ago) put the panigale motor straight in the streetfighter and ran with that....they'd have sold loads of them....then ran the streetfighter v4 model alongside the v4 panigale. Personally id rather have an old 1098/s and probably still will...at some point....
And, i hasten to add its not only ducati....ive got a z1000, and why for the life of me i dont know KHI havent brought out a supercharged z1000 with the h2 motor in it yet i dont know....someone at KHI should be fucking fired for that!
I know this is an old mock up of a Streetfighter Concept BUT if it looks anywhere close to this.... slap in the New V4, Ohlins full electric whizzbangers and Brembo stylema and I think you will be surprised how many folks will pick them up regardless of the discounted competition. We have to pay for progress, Quality upgraded performance and Branding. Just my humble opinion I will sit back now at wait to get shot down in flames.
