every year becomes more short track style racing, with block passes and some mental overtakes. Fab viewing but not sure if its sensible or may damage the longterm prospects of NI road racing
Hearing the news that Simon passed away i am so sad not for the first time here at the NW200 however many people in this sport will still race bikes & I know it may not be what people want to hear but if you want to do this no one will stop them. Another great person Simon Andrews has been taken from us. God Bless Simons parents keep them safe comfort them in their needs. I shall say a prayer for Simon now he is in biker heaven he will have good friends up there. There will be lots of people now saying that the road racing over here is becoming too fast etc i think bikes are faster getting to there top speed but really not any faster than some of the big bikes from years ago. Maybe the technical people can bring in control ecu etc if they want speeds down but in any case there will be people who will crash & get hurt or even die. We bikers in general know what can happen every time we go out on our bikes,i scrutineer bikes over here try to make sure the bikes are in good condition before racing & do wonder what more we can do to make things any safer.
