Sorry, scrotes is with an ‘e’. However, disagree with cannot spell their name, it’s debatable if the majority can write!!!!! Another moniker abbreviation is along the lines of rectial opening.

Thank you for the rescue, @SPMarshall . @Sam1199 once again had me in a tight spot and I was sure I was done for.

For the record, I assumed that scrot was a marvellous amalgamation/mash-up of the words scrote and grot, which is why I enthusiastically adopted Mr Marshall's spelling.

As for the connection between the Mk1 fugly and a sea mouse ... as a lad, I once found a decaying sea mouse on the beach. The strong sense of revulsion I felt for it was buried for many years and only surfaced again when the Mk 1 came out.
