Now this is a major step for the present Mrs. Thus a major rethink is required regarding 'The back-up bike'. There will be luggage, of course and other things to consider, like the budget. Ooh sir! Man logic is whirring away.
One of the lads here at work has just bought one of those, a new old stock pre reg at £13k fully loaded. Looks a good bike from what I have seen so far.

Any bike that has a reverse gear should be banned immediately* *I know that technically, the reverse gear was only on the 1500 onwards, but still, ban em all!
Agreed. The Mrs will need a bit of an armchair feel. She's not been keen to get on a bike for a while. A Multi is 'as armchair' as I'm prepared to go. I happily tour on a Panigale with a tank bag.
