1200 Oem Header Pipe...epic Fail :( (lambda / O2 Sensor Blown Out!)

  1. Things made on a mass production line are made to a price whether they are a Ducati, BMW or fridge. Its the way the world works now unless you want to pay for a handbuilt item.
     
  2. Sure they are made to a price, but they are made to an expensive price, so you expect expensive things for your money.

    Back in the day, when Hondas were put together with crosshead screws made of cheese, Ducatis were put together with allen bolts. The difference was amazing. I remember a 500 Pantah cost the same as a 1000 Kawasaki, but at least you could see where your money went.

    I have, until recently, been labouring under the belief that Ducati still put top quality components on their bikes, seeing as you pay top $ for them. I am surprised and not a little worried to be discovering that this is a thing of the past.
    Once again, I say to you, which do you prefer: a non-rusting exhaust, or a box of electronic gizmos that you might never need? Both cost money somewhere along the line. For the same cash, you may not be able to have both.

  5. Nope..I cannot see thread tools anywhere. Searching tool in my browser says its not on the page.
