Off to hospital

    Are you covered on the ins for the loss of the trip?
     
  4. Dunno - will have to check. I'm might even just go .... sitting around for a few days watching, talking and drinking bikes in sunny Portugal sounds pretty good right now!

  5. It always amazes me when the pro's get back on and race carrying some pretty horrific injuries

    Don't you just hate getting old - luckily my Dayton boots are pretty adjustable

    Viv - I hope you can get your boots on :wink:

  17. The way things are going, a few more weeks and i'll have a whole new set...
     
  18. Just back from hospital ... no plaster cast and no bandages :biggrin:

    My Achilles has stabilised a bit so now it is just gentle weight bearing with crutches and a programme of physio.

    Maybe my trip to Portimao is still a goer. Will have to get leathers and a boot on and see about holding-up a bike

    I'd see what the physio has to say first and what the risk is etc, but you'll know yourself closer to the time I'm sure
