  13. I don't know for sure but I believe that for EU fans, fingers in ears and many la-la's help with the coping process.

    (Didn't want to derail the thread - which is about next steps after Brexit and should not be used as a Remainder-bashing fiesta.)

    If the vote had been to remain would it all be forgotten now ?
    Would the leavers have shouted for another vote ?

    And finally I don’t understand why some say Scotland is better off leaving the UK, then say they’re better off in the EU ?

  16. This leaver would not have demanded another vote. Why? Because the decision would have been arrived at democratically.

    Leaver - concerned about the anti-democratic nature of the EU - respects the result of a democratic vote
    Remainder - does not give a toss about democracy so is happy to remain in the EU - does not respect the result of a democratic vote

    Simple, really!

    Now now, Elise. There are many types of mania, you mustn't be all judgy.

    1%,- 5% of gnp? cant mind, compared to 50% using the uk figures...
    100% of our sovereignty compared to what? 5-10% of shared sovereignty, with a veto.
    its a no brainer really.
