I've never had to pay bummed tax from any far eastern purchase, always get it on anything from the US. Love the "handling charge" 2 days to get it across from the states, then it gets "handled" for 3 f'ing weeks at the Post Office!
Surely too many coincidences for it not to be the same person mentioned on the US forum?! I'd hope that anyone considering spending this sort of money on stuff like this would read this whole thread....or it could just be closed and the member kicked.....might save someone a whole heap of money and not let a fraudster get away with it?
He's changed his opening post to just say 'Done' Not sure why his account is still live - thought he would have been banished by the MODs - I got banished for fucking swearing funny old world
Did you?! Well you're clearly a c*%$ of the first order then and deserved it! In all seriousness this puts a real damper on buying stuff from form members. I'll never buy unless they've been about for a while and have a history of successful transactions....even then its a risk
The duke story is bad but what he did on the R6 forum was horrendous. Ripped off lots of people, for lots of cash and that goes back a few years obviously casting his net further as he obviously has a seriously bad rep in North America.
Yes. What am I supposed to do? Ban the bloke because people on the other side of the planet have 'claimed' things against him. Yes its all a bit suspicious, but also without actual proof (which I'm never going to be able to get hold of) there's not a massive amount I can really do in this instance. We don't have the infrastructure to provide buyer security, that's Paypal or your credit card suppliers role. We have to rely on the trust of others. I personally got f-ed over by a member on here, but I will never divulge who. All I know, is that I wont ever go out of my way to help, or probably even speak with them again. Sadly people take advantage of the trust of others. That, I'm afraid is the world we live in. If you doubt the seller, don't buy. Oh and @Exige, you weren't banned, you were warned. Big difference.
