Olfi do call it 4K cinema frame rate. The orange is because Sugru are a client of ours and I don't have any of the black freebie packs left [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Checked the instructions for mine and found I had to download an app for my phone which then picked up the camera as a wifi source and you can then control it, see what the camera is seeing and also it tells you if there are any updates (which there are none at the moment).
App has been out a week or two I think. Doesn't work when the cam is set to 4K but they do tell you this in the manual. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Regarding the updates. The latest is 2.7 but there was an audio bug they fixed but they released it as 2.7 again so worth doing the manual update. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mine isn't the same camera as yours (I think) it's just a £40 Chinese one. The app for mine is called xdv....
Yup. Most people seem to use the US rate of 30 fps though. Probably because most computer stuff comes from the States. I always set my Drift camera to 25 because, well because I'm British.
Pal and ntsc as formats will be gone in a few years. I pick frame rate based on bulk of cameras on the project and what they shoot at. Lower frame rates at night etc. For action 30fps will give smoother image than 25fps. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
