You'd be surprised how easy it is to write 20k words about something you are genuinely interested in. You'd also be surprised how much you know but arent aware off. Remember what one fool can do, another fool can follow. Look around at all the numpties who can manage it. Nope. Sedementary for instance. Igneous etc can be quite ancient. And metamorphic can change from one type to another. Those are the 3 basic types. But I understand your gist ET. Besides some rocks such as meteorites can be much much older than our 4ish billion yr old lump. I have a meteorite in my pocket, which is 4.6billion yrs old. I keep it in my wallet, its a slice of muonioalusta. I'm a nerd. But thats about the same age as our earth.
I asked a Geology student what it was like he told me "Biology but wi rocks" Disagree with you Fin I think that thread on Hidden Glasgow was saying it has been poorly thought out and is causing a great deal of disruption. Stolen from the thread is the "Official Commonwealth Glasgow map for tourists unfamiliar with the city"
thanks for the kind words, my days of study are over, still learning how to run a business. that's hard enough.
