The last good indication of value was a Bonham's sale last year where a 996R with 1500 miles sold for I think £12,000 inc commission. You will find it on their web site - Stafford Auction. These sales are widely published amongst exactly the cliental who buy these types of bikes so general are considered to set the market. Not the few dealers who try to bump up the prices rather significantly!!!

I do know of a 916 sps with only 300 miles on the clock , Incidentally its no 300 and comes with the crate and all goodies/ documents since brand new , bloke has (last time I saw him) fallen on bad times , he wanted £14000 but would have taken £12000 , I have no idea how good a price that is , but the bike is pristine.
