That sounds like a hard sell to me Pete,...not my cup of tea but some stuff that i like you'd not necessary be your bag.
Oops, I seem to have bought an even rarer, old, red Italian motorbike to go with the other, slightly less rare but not exactly common Italian motorbikes we have (still no red Ducatis though!) I've told the teenager he's having a Honda CBR600 next so we can get bits for it (and yes, the chain does look like it's going to fall off but it tightens quite a lot when you sit on it - there's a roller at the bottom of the frame for when you're pushing it around and to and the pad on the seat has already gone in the bin)
Out on the Jota for its first proper ride of the spring, and beautiful weather in Lincs this afternoon.
Today I accompanied this BMW 250 R27 Single on a ride. It was the last version of the R series singles, built in approx 1969.
I dropped the F4 in the garage. It damaged their fairing nose cone Nd side panels and there was big gouge in the tank. Ifound these CF fairings and a tank and airbox online. Fitted till I get my originals repaired
I test rode one of these about 1990 (though a red one. At Andover). Christ it was dull! I suppose I should take a V4 Ducati out sometime, see if all V4s are. Too smooth, I mean.
300 odd miles done now on the new 765. Rad guard fitted, RS mirrors, tail tidy ordered. Seat cowl still on back order...
