You only really see the texture up close.... I like the fact they change in different lights! Sometimes appearing darker in low light full on sun and they become almost like the old ones.... kind of Electric Gold

 

Perhaps they have changed the options available in terms of a matte or satin finish. I prefer the satin myself.

 

Yeah they all look good..... But still prefer the lighter versions! Personal preference.....

 

I prefer the Marchesini M9RS wheels that you get on the 1199SL. However depends on your budgets

I had the wheels from bike tourqe £2100 , but worth every penny over stock wheels. I’m planning on getting set of online fgrt black front forks and a ttx rear shock later this year and that’s me done ( prob not )

 

the cheapest I’ve found is in hps gives you option of adding rider weight to get the right weighted springs for you to so nice and easy , I’m sure they do the nix 30 kits

 

looks mega that.... Was a close call between the gold and Ti I would definitely look into Ktech as another suspension option. DDS-Pro on the 959 was sublime, easily equal if not better than some off the shelf Ohlins gear. Excellent technical support to.... just saying
