P&h - No Longer A Ducati Dealer?

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by Duncan22, Jul 10, 2023.

  1. So they won’t be selling new bikes?
    Pass from me then

  2. I welcome the change, never really had a good experience at at P&H....

  3. And being a dyed in the wool cynic, how long is it before the Superbike Factory ceases trading ? Andy

  4. I think you've called that right Andy, the whole scene is changing massively. We might just be Dinosaurs.

..this might appear unrelated, but I wonder how long before the maximum speed limit gets lowered to 60?

  5. you only have to look at the number of bikes they list with broken wing mirrors and damage to them to see that it’s a stack them high and shift volume dealer, with the emphasis very much on numbers rather than quality of the bikes. There are tons of horror stories so over the last 3-4 bike purchases I’ve avoided them even if they had a bike that looks okay in pics, I just won’t deal with those sorts of dealers

  9. just a final word on topic - RIP P&H. I had some great rides out eventually ending there for a coffee and an ogle at whatever was new, bought many spares from them over the years, and they were allways very helpful.

  10. Ditto, it's a shame they are gone, bought several bikes from them and countless spares over the years. Great members of staff too. Great customer service they had.

  12. Lloyd in spares was always fantastic.
Marcus was great for a chat even though I never bought a bike from them.

  13. Can I ask why the guys at Bournemouth don’t fill you with confidence?

  14. You have a message

  15. I couldn’t agree more. I had lots of Sunday morning ride outs with Marcus and his mates and Lloyd was just a legend. RIP P&H.

  16. Can Steve or anyone else say if and when Ducati Hailsham will open?

  17. I spoke to Tom, the Sales Guy from Hailsham at the start of Jan. he said things have been delayed slightly so hopefully open by May if not sooner

  18. I know of yet another person who bought a bike off Superbike factory and it arrived not checked and faulty and has had to go straight back, but obv they couldn’t pick it up for 10 days… they are an absolute joke, avoid at all costs.

to answer the question, by the end of the year I reckon at this rate
