Agreed, and all those people who would be bribed by a pound off their crossing @Zhed46 will be sorry when they find themselves in the same position. Tesco and British Gas did the same recently. I switched energy supplier and haven't stepped inside a Tesco since -I'm sure I'm not the only one.
your not. still plenty of principled people around. boycotting companies and organisations that have come out in the past to scare and threaten people to vote in a particular way, and or changing their branding is quite the thing up here. still a minority, but significant enough for some to dial it down a bit. tax's, most folks i know are self employed/employers and it seams i'm not alone when i first said i was going full tory (i will never vote for em) should the country ever choose a certain path again when it gets the opportunity. i'm quite happy considering the circumstances with our services but with a lil more effort and an accountant i could save quite literally thousands. fug it, want tory? i will give you a tory. fire and rehire. what about subsidies from a gov with borrowing powers offering incentives to relocate from a country that cant borrow to invest. off the top of my head i could name three large employers that have moved their 1500 jobs that after a bit of digging had nothing to do with logistics ect bar the "incentives" offered for the owners/board members. it's amusing as it is frustrating watching folks see and commentate negatively to what was predicted v,accurately at least 10years ago when i and others first started taking notice like it's something new and caught them by surprise.
