I have built plenty of engine stands. Not entire stands but different heads that bolt to a motor and slide into a cheap 3 or 4 wheel v8 stand. Does anyone offer something like that for the 1199 or do I have to build my own? No way I am paying pirobon or Ducati prices for a assembly stand. I have never needed a Teflon piece to fit the sump perfectly before. Is there a reason I do with this engine?
Sorry to drag up an old thread. But… Topolino, did you have one of the Delrin inserts when you rebuilt the 1098 if so, any chance you have a record of the part number? thanks
