Just picked this up today Went to test one at JHP on Saturday, ended up the ride there was the last on my 848, which kinda makes me a little sad as I didn't know it at the time. This pretty well makes up for it though!
the pani perfoms great as a road bike but nice looking - no proportions are all wrong to my eye a nice looking face with big ears lol - the standard mirrors are detracting and annoying and look like they have come from halfords. imho they should have put 999 style mirrors on, they may not be the best but look cool and sculpted and integrated. a funny looking arse - it simply needs underseat exhausts. everytime I see one I think wrong wrong wrong... please mr ducati. make a facelift model immediately with an 1198 back end, 1199 face, 999 mirrors. I think it was chilli who refused to ride a 999 cos he said it was so ugly. I feel the same way about the pani but yearn for its performance. ...
get a 1198R, steepen the front, loose the weight you can loose and you will have all of the performance you yearn for
