Traded the 899 in for a 1299s. Picked up today. Now to get some miles done.

 

Slowly getting through the 600 miles before the 1st service. Weather today made it easier though

New gold chain and rizoma fluid pots fitted today along with 1st service and -1 front sprocket

 

Those Rizoma pots certainly look the nuts, I have those fitted on my 1199.
Is that a D.I.D chain?

 

I cant remember what one it is to be fair i got it free as my standard chain rusted within a few weeks of delivery so the dealer done a warranty claim and wangled me this and the -1 front sprocket for the price of a standard 899 chain

 

Bloody Ducati are so inconsistence, my dealer put rear sprocket and chain through as warranty claim and Ducati turned it down said its a consumable but they did replace fork bottoms, the break line guides as were showing corrosion and a couple of other things to.
