  15. How do you find your Pani compares to the others?

  16. Well ive had 3 675’s so you could say I quite like them but the 899s just a work of art.

I do find I’m more on top of the 899 than the 675 which I felt I was a part of if that makes sense but that’s my only gripe. Its still a lot more comfortable, especially when youre doing 3-4 hundred miles a day. It also knocks the 675 sideways for outright looks. I ve only the 899 4 weeks and yesterday was the first time i had a good day in the saddle (ive also been a bit injured so it was good to get it leant over and get to know her properly so to speak as opposed to the usual daily commute down the m25). The revs take a bit of getting used to as well compared to the triple but for pure rideability id put them pretty close to each other, which for me is quite a compliment.

As for the MV it was the first time id seen my mates in the flesh so to speak and I was a bit worried I was going to question whether id bought the right bike. I came away KNOWING I had. :upyeah:

  17. I find with the 899, it doesn't feel like you're going as quickly as you are.. if that makes sense. I only ask as I dispatched a 675 the other day, the previous shape with an underseat pipe. I know they're great bikes though, epic little track bikes.

MV's are lovely looking things, but I still prefer the Ducs :)

Just as a side note, I have never bonded with a bike as much as I have the 899, I bloody love it. Got out yesterday, shame it was damp, but still awesome!

  18. Yeh completely agree with that mate, with the 675 you could tell you were on the limit whereas the 899 feels so effortless. You look down, see 3 figures and youre like, wtf how did that happen.:tearsofjoy:
