I should try a 848 Evo then (or I assume even worse with the 1098/1198)... As the sense of speed is actually a little more apparent on the 899, I agree though it is still easier to get very silly on it compared to the 675 which I also had previously.
Hi, ive been looking at getting a 899 since they came out really, but didn't have the funds to get one until recently, anyway when the 959 was announced I decided to go to the nec to have a look at it in the flesh ,it looked a great bike but those exhausts put me right off, so back to plan A and im going up to leeds on saterday to look at a 899, if its ok I will do the deal. its a 13 plate I realise quite a few have been used as track bikes are there any tell tale signs to look out for, any advice would be much appreciated.
You might be better off asking this question in a new discussion rather than within the Panigale gallery thread.
Yes I think a new thread would be the way to go. I assume you mean 2013 year but 63 plate & its the white one with the goodies? Even though the spec is relatively handsome, its still a little rich for me at the asking price. A handsome discount & some warranty is the only way forward. The mileage is low and some of the problems surface with more use. Finally, if it is this bike , ask them if they can wrap it in red! Thanks for the replie Rossi ,it's the red one I'm looking at, but I will check the other one out as well while I'm there, can I move the post myself or do I do it again
So much cooler in gold Jimmy, the black ones pale into insignificance by comparison, sorry Royalwithcream!! but they aren't to expensive though. Get yourself a set, you deserve it...
