Hi Andy. Had a Speciale #1006 (not magnesio) and would love this but I’m supposed to be paying the mortgage off! But really tempted. Did it come with standard S wheels and then the magnesio wheels came later? I know they had supply issues for the first batch so rather than wait they shipped the bikes out with the S wheels … and if so are they included? Cheers Harry
Yes, you are correct, I was asked if I minded if my bike was delivered with standard wheels and the mags would follow. Sadly my bike was one of the first bikes with mag alloys fitted at the factory to be delivered to a UK dealer so no standard wheels Andy
Gutting. It was a nice ‘perk’ because of supply issues to get a free set of standard wheels. Hope to see you at the Ducati day at Silverstone next week if you’re going. I’ll have a think.
Unfortunately the new Silverstone date is too close to my main touring holiday this year so didn’t want to take the risk. If the weather is good, I might ride up and catch up with those that are there. No pressure on the bike Harry and certainly don’t get yourself in trouble Andy
The bike will be on “sale or return” at Moto Rapido in Winchester in a few days time and they will be offering dealer finance and warranty facilities. Andy
Not 100% sure where it will be pitched but a figure of around £26,000 was suggested as being achievable. Andy
