  1. Absolutely right. Over the years I've been in Baines more than once when main dealers have 'phoned them to ask for guidance re a difficulty with older machines.

  2. Yes, the very big dealership I was chatting to did not even know about cush drive falling out on a 996!

  9. To be honest I'm very disappointed in myself, I blame the stress of wife/kids/Ducati ownership.

  10. Someone once asked if you had to have Parkinson's or dementia what would you have?

I replied Parkinson's as I'd rather spill half my pint, than forget where I put it

  13. Visiting an old folks home, The Queen asked an elderly resident: "Do you know who I am?"

The old boy replied: "Don't worry if you can't remember love, Matron keeps a list of all our names."

  17. +2 for superg's post. Carl is very good, reasonably priced and very enthusiastic about Ducati's.

  18. +3 for Carl. I met him for the first time this year and he carried out a full service on my 996 and fitted a few mods.

Great bloke, great service and great price. What more could you want? I'll certainly be going again.

  19. There is made in Italy motorbikes in good old Stowmarket!!

  20. If you go in there, you will break your bank account (if there is anything in it)...........not the cost of work, but the range of bikes he has in stock.......drool.........
