What you have there my friend looks like an original 748R/749R, 3 ramp/6 post slipper clutch body with an RS style 4 hole pressure plate. Nothing wrong with that as it is a good clutch but the 4 spring configuration needs the correct rated springs and spring caps. Andy
Thanks for the input. Good to know. I googled the springs/capmarking and it looks like it's a correct 4 spring setup.
The 4 spring set up was used in racing because rather than the rear wheel starter you see in modern Moto GP, they used a hand held starter motor with two prongs that located through the pressure plate into the clutch body. If your clutch centre were for that set up, it wouldn't have the two extra posts. Don't get me wrong, I run an RS engined track bike with the 3 ramp/6 post slipper clutch and despite the simple set up it works really well. Andy
