  3. It's come to the point where black pudding (black pudding FFS) is acceptable and normalised in a forum that children can read.

    Disgraceful.

  7. True, but essaid than done
Still in Woking at the moment, my mate’s has to pop out to pick up the kids, I’m awaiting his return. If I leave here about 2 I should be there about 3.30 via the scenic route (Ascot, Maidenhead, Marlow, A404 and the A4010 into Aylesbury) according to Google Maps.

  8. Bugger - I have to be back home for 3:30 as going into London this evening with SWMBO. I had put a wee dram in a flask for you too. Next time....

  10. My breakfast.
I’m weird. I don’t like the slimy pips in tomatoes. Cooked and in a suce they’re fine but cooked and whole or, even worse, raw, I detest them. Thus I specifically requested no tomato on my full English and was offered black pudding instead which I gladly accepted:). And, yes, I was a bit disappointed with only the one sausage:confused: and the sausage is probably the cheapest item on the plate. Still, less than a tenner for a full English, juice and 2 mugs of tea, VFM in my book :upyeah:

  11. :(
Thanks for the thought of the dram, it’s appreciated, and it’s the thought that counts.

  12. There's only one proper Black Pudding and that's Stornoway Black Pudding - you can't comment on Black Pudding until you have tried it - melts in your mouth

  13. No worries. I will save it for you for next time. Just to be clear, I wasn’t going to give you a nip as you were riding (as I would have been). You were getting the flask to take with you to enjoy tonight (in case anyone miss understood).

  14. No, I didn’t, and useful on both fronts if a suitable pub quiz question arises. Thank you.:upyeah:

  17. Today, as Guildford is near Woking and as I was going from Clapham to Woking to see one of my old mates I thought I’d pay a visit to Motolegends, just south of Guildford, as I’d read so much about it on here. It’s a cool set up. I like the fact you have to ring the buzzer to get someone to open the door to let you in, a bit like a private club :). I wasn’t too keen when I started to browse and realised nothing had a price ticket on . Oh, oh, this is going to be expensive:scream:. The saying ‘if you have to ask how much something is, you can’t afford it’ came to mind. Nice gear mind you. I wasn’t going to buy anything, honest, just window shop and try for size & fit I could always order on line once Id saved up. But, yes, you’ve guessed it. I succumbed. I exit the shop 60 mins later, £150 quid lighter and a pair of jeans heavier. Probably the cheapest thing in there too:astonished:.

  18. Off to see my mate, have a cuppa and a catch up and then back on my bike to on yer bike (aka Ducati Aylesbury) in Aylesbury. Well actually it’s bloody miles outside of Aylesbury.

A very impressive place:upyeah:. An absolutely vast selection of bikes, new & used, and the biggest clothing selection I’ve ever seen, from all the major brands. I could spend hours there. However, it had taken me bloody hours to get there. Bloody traffic . London and the Home Counties is just one big traffic snarl, and when there is a bit of open road it’s got an average speed limit camera set up on it:mad:.

It was bloody roasting today in full leathers as well.

  19. I mentioned there was a fantastic clothing & gear selection in OYB, including a better array of Ducati branded gear than they have in Bologna; but a Ducati dressing gown? Come on, that’s taking the P surely?
