Having watched and been unable to help our last boy who was absolutely terrified of fireworks/thunder (even on the TV), when we have a litter around a firework night (Nov5th/ NY etc...) I always get the puppies out in the garden when they're going off (and it's like Beirut here when they are ). When we have litters at other times, I randomly play this LOUD........ I tried one with mine, she hated it too, always trying to paw it off. I think the snoozler is a a very sensitive area.
The only caveat I’d add, is that I’ve been very proactive with descaling Iggy’s teeth while using it and so it may be that even if I’d not been giving him Plaque Off, I’d still have been able to remove the brown scaling. The instructions assume that once softened, the tartar will be removed by normal eating and chewing activities, but I decided to accelerate the process, which has been doubly beneficial because now he’s used to me messing around with his mouth, I’m also able to brush his teeth. My dog walker told me that quite a few of her other clients say they’ve had good results with it, and virtually every online review is of the “Wow! This stuff really works” variety. Fingers crossed, it’s saved me a £500 descaling job and also the worry of him having to have a general anaesthetic. Unfortunately I forgot to take any “before” pics, but I’ll find some photos online which show teeth in similar condition to Iggy’s when we started and I’ll take some “after” shots for comparison.

Reuben had his 10th birthday yesterday. Both daughters came to visit while I'll usually just get a text Couldn't wish for a better four legged companion, mental heath therapist and fitness coach.
Found a local highly recommended trainer/group and the fella starts next Thur. He also had day care this week that made him very tired….
Do they like pork scratchings? I had some served with a mixed roast Sunday lunch the other week and I donated them to the dog, but he spat them out and looked very upset, as if I’d pulled some sort of mean trick on him.
Tired is a very good thing with a male spaniel. I went van lifing to Dorset with a mate earlier this week and Iggy was stuck in the van all day Sunday and then the rain came down like stair rods on Monday, confining us to barracks once again. He was going stir crazy, and the situation was not at all helped by the fact that the campsite was full of fascinating smells, so as soon as I let him out for a pee, he’d go off on an adventure and because once his nose is switched on, his ears are switched off, I couldn’t get him to come back. I suspect there may have been a bitch in hear around, because he was absolutely obsessed and fixated.
He was gone all day from 0830 to 1730. He had two’ pack’ walks, so was out most of the day walking and socialising (reason I’m taking him there). He’s back next week for more and make it at least once a week thing for a while
They love them, apparently you shouldn’t give them to dogs because the rind could have some kind of pig germ in them but we’ve never had an issue, they just get a bit thirsty from the salt lol (and they only get a couple each the rest are for me!).
Thought about something you said the other day @Red899 when I was at a dog park a few towns over, a couple come in with no less than 7 spaniels between them, yes 7!!! They werent stood still long enough to ask any questions but the poor womans arms were being pulled in different directions constantly so no idea how much fun they have daily!
