Today he’s been to doggy school again Playing with @cookster ’s young cocker all day. Back to a large dried fish, and apple then sleep…. Genuinely like having small child!
Anyone else have a machine gun shitter? My Scoo must shit in about 10 different spots whenever he passes his morning obloutions and it turns my garden into a cambodian minefield when i go to clear it up. He'll drop his main one off fairly solidly then walk around in the shitting position dropping little bits everywhere. Any ideas why? Anal glands?
Iggy has always done that. He releases one every 20cm or so, like a Lancaster bomber carrying out a raid over Hamburg. He also insists on completing multiple sorties per outing, so I can’t just let him do his thing without keeping a close eye on him, particularly as I tend to walk him on the cricket ground where I play every other Saturday.
Haha exactly that, my other two no problems (norma sits there longer than me reading my phone on the toulet) but the springer has done it since day one and I’ve no idea why. The worst is when you see a dog foot print in one of them when you go to pick it up cos u know at least some of that has come back inside the house without me knowing!
Our GSD eats post but sadly for me he left my wife's new card alone last time so might need to borrow him next time her new one is due please
My cocker would turn anything that came through the letter box into confetti! I had to install an external letterbox. She would sit looking out the window waiting for postie, even recognised his van.
Yeah one of ours waits for him, barking from the second the van pulls up till we open the door then he stops. Not sure why, the regular postman doesn't make a fuss of him or even say hi or anything (think hes a little scared of him to be honest as it is a loud/deep bark) I think its caused him to bark at everyone in high viz orange since as sets the barking off till he realises no post to chew - high viz yellow or pink, no reaction!
Mine wouldn't bark. She'd sit quietly on the back of the sofa in wait, as soon as she saw him or his van, she'd jump off the sofa, then sit staring at the letterbox literally quivering with excitement. Crazy hound...
Let the dogs out yesterday morning and Roger our boy just couldn’t get up , he was spread eagle on the floor at one point. Managed to get him out side onto the grass but his back legs just kept giving way. He was a lot better last night but still very wobbly and walking with one rear foot tucked under. Took him the vets first thing this morning and as I expected he just an old boy (11) who’s starting to suffer with his joints and spine. Vet said any surgery is out the question as he probably wouldn’t survive it at his age so its trial and error with medication now. We have some pain and anti inflammatory meds to start with.
