  2. Yes yes yes!
But what breed is he now (because when they are puppies it can be hard to tell)?

  3. Rottweiler - and a fantastic breed very loving - like any dog needs a good home and a loving one

  4. Great family dog. I was told they actually don't need a lot of exercise, just walked. Something about their bulk.

  5. This is the second one we have owned amongst over breeds like you say a great family dog

  6. I've always rather fancied one of these.
Only problem is that they fart a lot, eat a lot and probably don't live very long. But the ones I have met are just brilliant!

  7. Well you only live once - better to have what you want now and not regret - all dogs have a short life it's the time they have with you now that counts

  8. Those mastino napolitano's are huge dogs.
You gonna need a lot of space if you take one off them.

    Henk!!!

  9. I don't think I'll ever be allowed to have one.
Mind you, as an anti burglar device, they must be massively effective. I don't think they are especially aggressive, but would you take a chance?

  10. we had one (rotti)the long haired model extremely friendly with out jumping all over you. bigger dogs are more chilled.

  11. Most dogs have a natural instinct to protect/warn their pack, training just brings that on a little for certain purposes. Rotties will protect the pack to the end, sheps tend to be a one man dog. In my experience, my little springer will hear/see something way before you know anything. She is too good at protecting her ground, but once its all friendly she is fine. I've seen her eat the lab that's comes from the farm down the road. The lab comes up for crap on our lawn.
Had a rottie when I was a lot younger, the Vet said he was poisoned, we blamed the neighbour.

  12. Loving this thread. I had a rottie too, fantastic dog, still miss him 6 years on.

  13. jake the Alsatian just cost me £310 (two tyres) couple of jags and 2hrs observation. allergic reaction to summit.

  14. Is he allergic to Scottish people?

  15. nope. bull shit. :Mooning::smile:

  16. Walking away from that one! ;) :D

My Nan used to knit me jumpers like that. She said I'd grow into them.
