  1. Wow! They are amazing! Congratulations!!!

  2. Obi in the the op Thursday…still unsure if it’s the right thing but most dog hotels (kennels) don’t like un-neutered dogs

  3. Thanks :upyeah:

  7. What hotel was it please? - Curious/dare I ask do they have enclosed/sealed areas? One of mine will do a bunk given any opportunity, so would love to go somewhere like that but without being pen'd in would be on hte lead the whole time!

  8. The hotel is Audleys Wood in Basingstoke (we were there for a wedding).

The grounds are very nice but not fully fenced in, sorry.
The hotel site backs onto farmland on a couple sides and small woods on the other.
Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming to our two pups.
The hotel is part of a chain, perhaps some of their other hotels are dog friendly as well with fenced in areas?
    Good luck

  9. Thanks appreciated Todders, been looking at a few airbnb's but its hard as allot of them make no guarantees about fencing standards despite pets being welcome so limits options a little.

We van it allot, but be nice this time of year to extend our options a bit with somewhere warm and cosy with room to move

  10. Ya, our getaways are usually in the camper van as well. We're often disappointed with the 'dog friendly' accommodation we've had in the past. It seems that hotels/B&B's stick dog owners in their tired looking room / the one in need of decorating.

  11. We go here at least once a year, all secured, middle of nowhere/peaceful but within easy reach of pub/supermarkets etc in Buxton. Its brilliant, the dogs love it, the hosts are fabulous and of course its slap bang in the middle of dog walking country.

  15. We now have a very confused, sad dog after his surgeries went very well today. We got sedatives too….aparemtly they work on people too ;)

Hate putting him in his crate for long periods but very reckons first few days probably best to crate 90% of the time. Out for toilet, food, quick cuddle and back.

  17. Poor boy hope it goes quick for him.

When our Lab was done he didnt like being grounded and hes usually quite lazy, but still got an infection somehow. Went from no balls to two oranges there overnight poor boy so as much as he hates it sadly has to be done

  19. He looks really pleased with himself!

When my Iggy was a puppy and was teething, he had a thing for biting iPhone and MacBook charging leads, which cost me a bloody fortune. At least yours is a simple fix or you'll probably have one of those lying around in a drawer, along with various printer cables from the 1990s and those USB wires which are only about 3" long.
