Bear - Biggest softy rotti I have ever had the pleasure of calling family Puppy pic and a pic taken a month ago - he is getting big and still does not realise his tail belongs to his body
As Mrs AL has been getting fluffy toys from the charity shop for the puppy to play with I'm not too sure about the cat's safety................... .....although she did chase him twice the other day when he was trying to bowl her over............he ran away and kept out of her way for the next two days....
I must stop boring you all with this...but what a difference 2 weeks makes. Here's Gwen now. 6 weeks old and I'm in love. We go on holiday in a couple of weeks, so She won't come home with us until she's 12 weeks. Never wished a holiday away before
Strangely as pups they never look like the grown up version . My best mate Merlin. 10 yrs old Sadly he passed away nearly 2 yrs ago he was 10, it still upsets me [emoji26] tumour on his spleen and we could not save him (I would have sold my soul to the devil) hardest decision I've ever had to make having a very much loved pet put to sleep, I've got his ashes in a box with a plaque and he will never be replaced.
Our mutt is just out of season, the epilepsy, fits, are more frequent during her season. During this time, meds are increased, but the side effects are a spaced out dog. Earlier in the week, we watched her having frequent fits, finally balanced the meds over a few days. Now she is more, I can't say normal, but more alert and stable. Its stressful. Wifey and I had a difference of opinion on what was best for the dog. Sounds weird or you can call me a weirdo, i remember holding the mutt and kind of thinking she was scared. Back to the vets, talk about an op, so no more seasons.
Well, just 1 day in and our worries about how Meg would react to a new family member seem to have evaporated. Meg and Gwen are already best friends it seems...
Here's our Scrumpy last week after walking up yet another mountain in Snowdonia last week (well we walked, he ran around like an idiot as usual!). It was a very hot, sunny day which they do have occasionally in Wales apparently . He's feeling a bit sorry for himself at the moment as he had the 'unkindest cut of all' yesterday :Jawdrop:
