Fly's now 9 months (L-R Meg, Gwen, Beth, Fly).

 

Grilfriend's cat Evie, comes to mine for mouse catching holidays. Gets on really well with my dogs too.

Best mate, hates looking into the camera and loves the noise of a bike revving up. Odd dog.

 

Here’s Lola. 6 months now. What is it about girls and possessions? She has to have EVERY toy in her bed. The older dog gets sorted if he try’s to take one.

 

Woods this am. Ned (our boy, liver & white), Lola (our girl, B&W), both Springers and their best mate, Dexter who is a Sprocker.
On the way home we were joined by 3 more Sprockers. A flurry of spaniels.

 

What’s a sprocker? A cross between a springer and ......

But if a misnomer actually as Springers and Cockers are fundamentally the same dogs. A century or so ago the biggest spaniels in the litter were bread from. They became the Springer breed. The smaller dogs are Cockers.
Avg weight for a Springrr around 20kg. Sprocker 16kg. Cocker 14 kg.

 

A bit like 748/916/996/998 if you see what I mean.

 

Picking this fella up when we get back from hols end October.
