Not a pet, but we took in a stray cat last year and re-homed it. It was sleeping in a bush in the garden. It would sleep like this for ages!

One of the Dog Rescue Groups have contacted me today to say that this 9 year old bitch (Tizzy) might be available after the family due to adopt her pulled out (through no fault of the dog) She is in foster care 30 miles away in Colne, so, as Defra relaxed the rules on re-homing animals in Charity/Rescue care two days ago, it might be legal to adopt her.
Meg's puppies arrived early this morning. Only 2 this time, but 2 little crackers. One girl & 1 boy Edit. Sadly, the little boy pup (top pic on the right) passed away after just 24hours. We'll never know why. Gutted
Been trying to adopt a rescue dog for around six weeks now, but now there's finally light at the end of the tunnel. We've had a video house assessment this week from one rescue organisation, and as a result, they are delivering this 3 1/2 year old bitch on thursday for a 7 day foster and if all goes well, adoption: Dog was handed into a vets for destruction as she "pulls on the lead" in East Yorks, but the vet handed her over to Rescue as she was deemed suitable for adoption - seems pretty cute
who the hell hands in a beautiful animal like that for destruction because it pulls on the lead ?? some people should be excluded from ever owning a dog again ! good luck with her Ron
