It has been touched on here already, but the Kennel Club shouldn't be registering puppies from parents that don't have even the basic health tests, that are supported by the Kennel Club themselves. Neither should they allow Challenge Certificates to be awarded to dogs that are untested. The reason they do, money.
So here’s the ever growing cheeky Tillster (Tilly), and Mrs Hinge. Rowing up the river in Knaresborough. ‘Twas a fun day….
That’s probably because cats roam free while dogs these days are generally always accompanied by their humans. My Iggy, who is intact, was getting frisky with a bitch the other week but I was able to stop him before he got further than second base. Turns out she was neutered anyway so no harm, no foul. He’s still not popped his cherry yet and so he is limited to practising his amore on his favourite sofa sex cushion. Most cats are also generally just moggies whereas a lot of dogs are potentially valuable pedigrees or sought after mixed breeds such as cockapoos etc
I'll let others decide. Oh...Hang on Anyway. My world moves on. We're all entitled to our opinions. BTW...If it was you asking to join our FB group (I may well have jumped to an incorrect conclusion there?), PM me, 'cos I think you'll see a completely different side to 'Breeding' than the fixed impression you have in your mind. That's not to say there isn't a darker side and I'm with you 100% on the need to fix that.
Johnny, decide whatever you believe is right. I've told you plainly that I have no personal issue with you whatsoever. I also have no idea what the relevance of Facebook is in this conversation. I stopped using FB more than seven years ago. Give Beth a biscuit for me.
Marvel star Dave Bautista adopts ‘horribly abused’ puppy and offers cash reward to find the culprit ‘She is now a Bautista and she will never be abused again in her life,’ said the actor in an emotional video https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-...27531.html?utm_source=taboola&utm_medium=Feed
I got into a bit of a fight with a dog today while protecting my Iggy. I was on my eBike and he was roaming free off the lead in some woods when all of a sudden a greyhound came running at him full pelt out of some bushes. He was quite crafty in that he stood his ground until the very last second before dropping his shoulder and giving a cheeky little body swerve that sent it the wrong way and bought him some time to try and get away. Luckily Iggy (working cocker stock with umpteen field trial champions in his pedigree) is very fit and quick on his feet so the greyhound couldn’t quite catch him but it clearly had intent to do him harm and was gaining on him. I tried unsuccessfully to get in between them but thankfully the Igster had the good sense to come and stand behind me. The other dog went for him again but as it passed by me I managed to grab its collar and pin it to the ground until the owners showed up, which luckily, they did after a few seconds as it was trying to bite me. Oddly, once the owner had it on its lead its prey drive totally disappeared, it was nice as pie, happy for me to stroke it and even let Iggy have a (very cautious) nose to nose sniff. The poor lad is already wary of other dogs due to a couple of bad experiences when he was a puppy and was really shaken up, so much so that when I went to take him out again later in the day he was very reluctant to leave the house or let me put his lead on. Thankfully, no harm done apart from to my eBike as the mirror got snapped off when I ditched it.
Wifey's parents collected our dogs for a few days, call it doggie holiday. Miss the bloody mutts already ffs.
It’s weird how you dive straight in there when dogs start scrapping. We used to have a bulldog and a staffie and by Christ did they go for it once in a while. I remember splitting them up one day and the bulldog (accidentally) bit me straight through my hand. They say the adrenaline stymies the pain. But it didn’t, it fucken hurt. A lot.
