  1. Exactly. Although Jorge giving him a bit of his own medicine in the middle of the corner was the highlight of the race for me.

  2. I wonder how many of you can judge a 200mph bike with one look backwards. Jorge admitted he ran wide anyway

  6. Great ad for bridgestone :upyeah:

  7. pedrosa took a bite out of it on his way past out the pits :p

  8. It proved they were right to say 10 laps maximum anyway.

  9. fkn hell...how did he get that thing home???

  10. They are all racers, making split second decisions at ridiculously high speeds.

They all take risks every time they throw their leg over a Moto GP bike.

Thank fuck they don't adopt the "after you sir" style of racing some of you imply would be much safer.

However, it is a difficult balance between safety and sterility, danger and excitement.

Every single one of them has earned my respect and admiration.

    Marquez is the new Rossi.

Tyres should be a component of the strategy, not the determining factor. Tail wags dog again.

  11. some valid points there.
I just have a problem with a bike moving onto the racing line when there wasnt a cat in hells chance of him being at race speed.

perhaps the organisers should have continued the painted white line around onto the straight instead of exiting bikes into the bend and anticipated a near miss..

  12. He wasnt quite on the line, he left all the apex exposed but at the same time wouldn't want to leave too much to catch up. Difficult to know, but he may have thought lorenzo was alone or just figured he could squeeze in between and catch the march on Pedrosa. I know the pic shows he looked behind but tfu not enough for me, but check out when they are in pitlane; they NEVER look over their shoulder they just pull out and go!

  13. That's unbelievable. If they were breaking up that badly, they shouldn't have been racing on them at all. The idea that "one extra lap" over what they guessed was OK did that to a tyre...... that's unsafe.

The whole event was a shambles really. Shame it had a bearing on the championship. No doubt Marquez just messed up in the heat of the moment, lost track of which lap he was on. Am just glad that Marquez was OK on that tyre, because that's a disgrace, that he and Jorge both survived the rediculous "return to track from pits into riders arriving at race pace" incident, that making up rules on the fly like the pit lane limit changes etc isn't safe (Dani nearly ended up on the grass) and that hopefully Bridgestone/Dunlop will have learned something.

What a joke. I bet Redding also wished he'd stayed at home this weekend!

  14. Fuck it, if they want that kind of excitement just make every race 12 laps

  15. interesting regarding the tyre.
I have googled and better googled for that image and cant seem to find it or the story that goes with it.

where did you get it from

  16. At least I know the level I'm dealing with now.

  17. you bedder believe it baby

  18. Those will be on eBay later this week described as '1 race scrubs, plenty of tyre left for road riding'..... £75
