Cleaned my lightning cable yesterday and it’s all working fine again now. Good point about the Hella - it’s robust but very annoyingly bulky. A simple USB outlet would surely be far more in keeping with what everyone wants to charge.

Basically, yes. Anything like that. They usually come with just two spade connectors on the back so very easy to fit. You can get ones rated for quick charge too. This is what I have at present.
That I can't help with as I can't remember. Measurements will be on the ad for the new socket. It's been a while since I did the multi and that's gone now for the ktm. I've done the same on the KTM but that had a normal sized ciggie socket.
