hmm, I think there seems abit too much white. the superleggera doesn't "feel" optically as having that much white. What about if the tank is left red - maybe breaks up the colours a bit more.
I agree. And at risk of laboring a point, it's tied in to the line chosen that runs through the bike. If you look at the SL there is a continued line that runs along the top of the white from the front fairing to the tail. If the angle of this line was lowered a bit on the Photoshop V4 and tied in to the angle of the tail, you'd end up with less white and a more cohesive design
Some stunning designs out there.... Well done Topolino for your amazing input, you should make a fortune with your talent.... I will sick with my Panigale 1299s Sheene rep for now, love it....lol
Today I saw it for the first time at sherburn, obviously a nice bike but I would take 899 1198 and many other Ducati's over it, as said black frame needed, tail tidy would massively improve it too...brave soul riding that today salt everywhere 2 degrees naff weather.
Thanks @Topolino & @duke63 et al for some great input. I'm getting a V4 this year and prepping it for track with a full body kit. This thread has given me some good ideas. Cheers
I prefer the Ducati Schilling Motarrader Motogp scheme to the Ducati Metz one, even if its not as accurate to the real thing.
Some great designs. I'll be getting a wrap on mine and so good to see what creativity is out there. SBK/Logo livery I think for me. As a solid colour, I think it would look great in black with gold accents!
I think the bike looks stunning in the video. I love the fact it’s kept in this guys flat and he uses the public lift to take it out.
Thanks for this thread - some really useful posts, especially the subtle things like black exhaust shields (which I will do). I've had a lot of trouble finding someone who can design custom livery for the V4. I approached some of the artists featured here, but noone can offer a workable solution. e.g they can design vector but don't have the template, or others have the template but can only offer pdf and the painter has to redo (waste of time), or can do some of it, but wont as they don't wrap road bikes, or don't reply to emails/return phone calls. Anyone know a professional outfit who actually want to work? I'm off to buy some crayons and vinyl wrap otherwise....
