you gotta get one its amazing with the cans aswell every now and then when i change up a get big pop out of the tail pipes makes me laugh every time
Yip, got to be firm with your foot. my 749 hit a few false neutrals when new, then settled down. Not sure if was the bike or me, but adjustment can help. I found this out after fitting rearsets and first time out I got a lot of false neutrals between 4th and 5th. 848 owners will be able to supply more detail, but Ducatis tend to benefit from going up a few teeth on the rear sprocket. It helps keep you out of the low rev vibey zone at low speed. Ie it will do 30mph in 2nd more comfortably. Again, 848 owners will be able to provide more detailed advice or tell if its not a problem on this bike.
We haven't (848 Evo's), they're referring to the Corse special editions. £500 odd for a quick shifter? Hmm
My mate said now and again you get a blast of flame on the upshift. In the meantime, to illustrate your comment about the pop. Get a load of this - me filmed by another mate from his Impreza P1.
The Corse has more bits than that added for the cost difference but I'm not sure I'd shell out on an aftermarket one on a standard Evo. The combo of the extras made me go for the Corse. There's no way I'd buy a QS on its own fir the £400-£500 it'd cost to add to a standard Evo.
Well new the corse SE was £1200 more than an evo. The aluminium tank is £1300 from ducati on its own, then you get ohlins shock, quickshifter, traction control and bigger front brakes. Bargain!
