Discussion in 'Newbies Hangout' started by Stu848, May 18, 2016.

  1. No chance Andy....itll be a pile of rusty metal by September...!

  2. Love it!!!
Like I said before, id buy any of your bikes in a jiffy, never know anyone as thorough as you,
And well you build a KTM, did not ride, and have to split it to get a bit back!!
I need to wait a year before you've fully rebuilt your Hyper then I'm gonna be beside you with a bunch of readys!!!! I haven't seen any pics lately, any thing changed? My Mrs is getting suspicious of why my fish tank cupboard is full of parcels, I been raiding the web for my 749, its staying, just had op and all seems good, about 4weeks to go now,

Sorry, just snatched your thread Stu

Watch comfy, he's great on keeping a bike in tip-top condition!

  3. I wouldn't say that - there are far more tidier bikes than mine...its really a question of money....I could make the hypermotor look like the ktm...id just have to have a couple of grand to do it!!

Hasn't changed that much in the way of looks but the detailing on it has...ie if you look closely its a lot better...

  4. Picked one up myself from a dealer four days ago did twenty miles before it broke down its going back tomorrow hope it gets sorted cos it was the best twenty mile I've had on a bike and I've had dozens if I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any. Hope you are luckier

  5. What was it Mick? The bike and the fault?

  6. Missed last few replies for some reason. Thanks for input and I'll have a look at them and I do also like a tidy bike, finer details and all that.

Has this Friday got a few extra hours in it as its been a slow week but today is taking the pi$$.

Setting off at 7 in morning to go pick it up, Mrs has had enough already as I haven't shut up about things I NEED!

Weather looking better thankfully might get a few hours on Sunday on it.

    Cheers all

  7. Its an 848 on an 08 plate put a new battery on but it won't start. It tries but won't turn over properly also whoever had it before has taken the baffles out it sounds nice but runs really lumpy at low revs don't know if I can smooth it out that is if it gets fixed

  11. Cheers pal, picked her up today, she is MINT condition and got all the original parts aswell. Looks 10 times better than on pictures, not a scratch on bodywork. I'm over the moon.... That noise when he started her... Oh my GOD! Termi all the way. Not had chance ride her properly yet as its not stopped raining, tomorrow is the day hopefully. If not I'm taking Monday off.
