Yes, at last count, 3 tropical fish tanks, the cabinet on the left is full of dolphin figurines, and, a number of dolphin pictures
Finally found some time to get the 996 MOTd today, so had a quick ride and gave it a good cleaning and polish. Realising it was absolutely filthy as it hasn’t been cleaned this year ! Oops.
Dialled back the race replica look a notch or two by removing the front fender and belly pan stickers. More importantly had the cams dialled in for a little more urgency and potency from stock SPS spec to 114 / 107. My UM239 chip is set for 107 / 107 so there’s potentially still room for improvement, if I can convince my mechanic that that set up is a street able set up. He’s skeptical. Regardless, the current set up feels purdy good! View attachment 278425
Great signposts you have out there in Canada! (T33 Shooting Star I believe) Bike’s looking great too.
I believe you are correct, according to a friend of mine whose reasonably knowledgeable about aircraft of that vintage. It's a wind vane in that location, which I think is so cool ! And thank you Sir!
Another decent day so another ride out with Mrs Slingy on her 848. Enjoy my chavtastic full carbon 996
