I applied a coat of Getechniq Exo ceramic coat with a coat of C2 all over - definitely helps keep it a bit cleaner but still wash it most times I’ve been out. Have also just finished applying a Tony James Designs ppf kit… Ball ache but done now. It’s a good kit, good fit and pretty reasonable. https://tonyjamesdesigns.com/product/multistrada-v4-pikes-peak-2022-on/
I've got the Tony James ppf on mine too. Great kit but as you say a pain to apply. It's more the plastics at the back and the swing arm I'm having the biggest issue with. The finish Ducati have used is not user friendly. I'll have a look at the Oxford stuff and the ceramic coatings. I'm not fastidious about bike cleaning, I just want it to actually look clean after I've washed it!
I applied the Getechniq to the paintwork and all the black plastics and carbon. Dirt washes off easier and they stay blacker for longer… I don’t need to douse them with any black plastic shiny juice or GT85 either….
We have progress! I asked them to leave the Ducati decal off the side and I’m glad I did. I prefer the plain look. The PP version is a bit busy for my tastes. It will be on over the weekend.
The more pictures I see of the RS the more I think the PP just looks way better. Biased opinion obviously
Looks good. Did you get that painted, or is it the vulture bike one? You really need to get rid of that centre stand and pillion pegs to finish the bike off now though.
I think it looks better than the RS matching the red subframe, who needs fancy titanium! Just need to get a sharpie and make the red on the seat the same shade
I thought the red on the seat would bug me once the rear was fitted. From the pictures, both mine and others, it doesn’t look great. In person, it’s fine. If I see a cheap all black pillion I’ll get it, but I’m pleased with how it looks.
It looks really good, I'm only jealous as I need the top box mount, although I take the huge mounting plate off as often as I can as it doesn't look great. I have to keep my pillion pegs as well, wife might get fed up with her legs dangling after a few minutes.
