  1. The Ventura looks good, but it looks like you're sat quite far forward? How's that for comfort?

  2. Riding normally its fine. There's plenty of room for me to move backwards and forwards. If I activity lean back I can rest against the bag but I wouldn't be able to ride like that for long . I'm 5'9 so for someone over 6ft it nay be an issue. But it depends on the length of your arms I guess. It's perfect for me :upyeah:

  3. I can't see any reason why you can't mount these brackets the other way round which would move the whole thing back by 5cm 20240620_121418.jpg

  9. Question re the headlights on the PP, but I assume it's the same for any of the V4 multis. You can switch the DRLs between auto and manual plus you can switch them on and off on the button on the RH switch gear (the button hidden round the bottom!!). How do you switch the headlights on to dipped beam? You can tell when the bike does it automatically as the light symbol on the dash changes from green to white showing the lights are on. I've had a number of occasions where I want to switch them on myself when I've been riding in fog and the ambient light has not been dark enough to trigger the bike to switch them on. Just having the DRL on on their own was not enough. I felt quite vulnerable. Also when going into tunnels it seems to take forever for the bike to switch the lights on. Can you do it manually? TIA.

  10. I believe it's a short press for switching the main/head lights, and long press for turning fog lights on and off.

  11. Thanks :upyeah:
One press turns the main lights on. The dash is not very intuitive as it switches the light symbol off altogether. So it looks like you've switched them off. Spent a few seconds trying to switch the fog lights on until I remembered I don't have any :D

  12. A question for anyone with the PP with its carbon fibre front mudguard. Has anyone fitted an extender to it? If so, what a d from where please?

I’ve a friend who’s just recently bought a brand new PP and he’s a little concerned about what gets thrown off the wheel into the front cylinder bank and exhausts.

I have the Pyramid plastics fender extender on my V4S but aesthetically he’s not convinced by it.

  13. I haven't bothered. Just tell him to get the Evotech front engine guard, that'll protect it enough.

  14. I've got the Pyramid fender extender and you're right, it's not in keeping with the overall look.

That said, I can look past it.

  15. He had the dealer fit the DP engine guards at PDI.

I may have to get the Pyramid one and wrap it in CF

  16. At least I now know it will fit and there’s no difference in mudguard shape twixt the PP’s CF version and the regular V4S version.

  17. You’re not wrong!

  18. Steady on there! I think they list the V4 & PP as separate.

I used silicone sealant on this inside of the extender. I felt it would protect the adhesive strips and give a bit more adhesion.
