Very mature response, well done. As the one that has the issue with someone being enthusiastic, positive and American, maybe you need to chill out a bit rather than throwing insults and derogatory generalisations around.
Did you watch the video at all ? It's yet another sales pitch by a copy-paste vlogger. Did he even go outside of touring mode in the end ? Insults? Ah sorry I touched your fragile personality
I’m the one that posted the video, so yes I did watch it. All I saw was someone that enjoyed the bike for what it is. Your personal comments say more about you than me.
I really wouldn't waste too much effort taking time out of your day, attempting to take notice of or acknowledge what P-B-B attempts to say, as based on previous 'posts' (a term used generously), they really weren't that informative, helpful or indeed grammatically relevant/correct. Enough said........
Still tells very little about the bike IMHO. One day someone is going to have a fatality making those vids and that will be the end of the vlogger.
Pretty crap review. Not up to 44T’s usual standards. Still can’t see why people would want a PP over a V4S unless they have the ability to benefit from the 17” front over a 19”. And where can you do that safely on public roads ? Certainly not in the UK. IMHO the paint job looks a bit in your face, and who really wants a number 1 on the tank unless you really think you’re number 1 ? £25k for a bike before you add any luggage and Al Fagan says the paint is already marking up. Perhaps it should be the Multistrada VP (Vanity Project) instead ?
With all due respect , what makes up happy . Yes for me the wheel change is a massive upgrade as the standard V4 I was finding limited and wished and need more rubber for the grip . As for the cost , if you can afford it why not , I bought the V4s and have only done 2.5 k on it but the upgrade is 1. Worthy of the loss 2. Worthy of the addition of cost . Result …. One happy owner . Also thought the review was good , sometimes folks look to on the negative side of enjoyment and perhaps wanting…… maybe wrong but you never know
All I can say is that we asked for it and Ducati delivered. It's got the engine that all V4s owners were gawking about plus all the bells and whistles the sport guys wanted. As for price, it's up to the buyers to decide about its value proposition.
Looks like part number 97480241AA will solve the issue he had with scratching the tank. https://ducatistore.co.uk/shop/ducati-set-of-adhesive-protections-for-tank-170-97480241aa.html
Shame they didn’t wrap around to cover the Number 1 sticker lol. I don’t really get the number. Surely if it’s a PP then a nod to Carlin Dunns number 5 would have been a nice touch ?
May not suit all but for the annual 14 day (wife and me ) trip seems to solve the luggage issue and a factory product . Looks like a nice set up . Ducati Configurator - Configuration
I normally don't like the adventure style hard luggage on anything but a GS but I must say that really 'looks the part'. Not sure if that says something about me having a shifting opinion or that the V4 MTS is just a little more brutal in appearance...
It still looks like someone has stuck a wheelie bin on the back to me. As to it looking 'the part', I concur, 'a spare one'......even on a slightly better looking V4 Pikes Peak version.
The top box with my sexy size 8 wife on the back will look great , sort of balances the wheelie bin lok a bit lol. A top box is never nice but on a 14 day 2 up trip its a bit essential ...
