Have a great time and have you any routes to share to the masses as done all the north east side but not the west. Again ride safe.
I agree, looks great. Where did the side screens come from? I really should stop buying parts for a bike that hasn’t arrived yet!
I’m very pleased with them, as I was concerned the weave wouldn’t match. But they look like Ducati parts. I got them from Vulturbike.
Hope you’re able to do something similar in getting an inbetweener. I think the PP is going to be worth waiting for.
It's a popular choice (the inbetweener, niot the PP, well that too ) I'm on a 2019 950s and with a brand new service and consumables, I'm happy until I get the call, whenever that may be...
I notice your engine bars are black. Are they the official ones powder coated or something, or another brand that just does them in black. Looks a lot nicer than the silver.
Apologies if I've missed it in an earlier part of the thread, but assuming there may be more owners and miles in since then, I'm after thoughts of multi V4S over the PP especially if there is anyone who have had both? I currently have the V4S T+R while I have the best part of a year to wait for the PP. My main focus is the suspension and would love some real world input. The more I ride the V4S the more I love it and I'm finding myself questioning whether I actually need the PP over the V4S? That said, I did previously have a Panigale V4S so sharper suspension isn't an issue as such but just wanting to know really whether the Ohlins upgrade adds to the experience more than the skyhook which as mentioned I am really enjoying.
I have had both . Back on the V4s as for me as a real world bike the suspension is better than the ohlins. The reason for this is the ohlins on a track would be great but the skyhook just works better on the road and with the 19front the bike just flows over everything. The PP is a great bike but on the back roads not as sharp , on the big super bike roads it was great , but so is the V4s . The 17 front picks up on rough roads more , is a sensitive to surface bumps . I have found I can ride the V4s to its potential but the PP was at time’s flighty and sort of unstable . This may have been me but glad to be back on the standard bike as now back out blasting rather than pointing . My opinion but hope it helps. If I had known before I would not have changed. The PP will fit those who had the 17/17 combo before maybe but the 19/17 really is that good . Check out the review from a southern Ducati dealer on the comparisons (you tube) as it’s a good one . I will see if I can find it as it was similar to my feelings .
Ducati V4 Pikes Peak vs Multistrada V4S Review...Whats the best Adventure Motorcycle for you?? - YouTube 17 mins in is the review / summary of both. Like it says you cant go wrong with either , but for me the V4s works all day no drama and you really can push it all conditions .
