i did mine a good 6 years ago and they do discolour..the headers go a bit blue and underneath goes gold..looks quite cool though. to get rid, simply gi'yit (as the locals say opp ere in shottingham) a quick rub of solvo, or if its been a long time, solvo a bit of wire wool and then move onto a cloth..all depends how anal you....im a well known fan of bottom love, so for me, its a joy.
