  4. Ain't that the truth!

Get out smiling? For me it's usually a case of getting out bleeding from orifices I didn't know I had.

  5. So far, 4 dealers contacted, 2 sat sold even though still on stock list, 1 online chat ‘they will call with car details’ and one ‘call you back’

Nothing. How do they make a living?!

  6. Have you considered a kia picanto diesel?

  7. I did. But felt I couldn’t live with the lack of reliability

  8. Yes I've heard that the turbo models with over 670bhp going to just the rear wheels have a dodgy record.

  9. Got a mate down the pub swear that, with a chip and decay system, 690hp is achievable. His only worry is if the gearbox (designed for 79hp) can take it.

  10. She'll love it mate, you genuinely spoil that girl !! :D

PS. 14k for an 06 plate ?? Is that not exceptionally rich considering it has 100k miles on it ?

  11. It's a very touchy thread, this one... some proper handbags going on.

"I'm a better Porsche owner than you are" get a grip, ladies. :p

BTW: I'm a rubbish Porsche owner, as mine has been off a cliff and in a field over the last fortnight. And older ones are better built, perhaps less tactile plastic, perhaps not as ergonomically designed or aesthetically appealing... but better? Yes.

  12. Carried away with the Christmas spirit? :astonished:

  13. High winds and exuberance...

  14. when it comes to trouble free longevity the popular German brands i feel have gone down hill in the last 5, 10 maybe even as long as 15 years. just saying :upyeah: but saying that, Porsche tbh is one of the few i haven't had a proper shot of.

  16. Ah it's reet, it wouldn't be a Porsche if it couldn't take a beating. They're wasted on golfers ;)
