  4. Fantastic pics!

I just bought myself a set of Bridgestone slicks and wets from FWR Tyres, same price £250 for the slicks and £240 for the wets.

Which compound did you go for?

It will be my first time on slicks when i head out in October, can't wait to get out there!

  5. Have been reading some really good stuff abouth the bridgestone slicks. And at £100 less that equivalent pirelli, bargain!

  6. Wow 2:01 is great, I managed a 2:05, before I went flying!!!

  7. Same here, I've heard nothing but praise
I've about 3 new sets of Pirelli's and a set of Conti slicks to go through first, and the. I'll try the Bridgestone out

  10. Yea, it ground out a few times, at least until it wore away , first outing with that belly pan, must get it sorted for next time.

Got mine from FWR too, I was using soft front and rear, should have been on medium rear but the wrong tyre turned up, in all fairness Bob was happy to replace it but I told him not to bother. Tyre wear was fine without any graining and consistent lap times, had only used Dunlop D212s before. Surprisingly the Bridgestones don't seem that popular at the moment.

Have a great time next month :sunglasses:.

Thanks, managed 3 laps in the 2.01s over the 3 days, some guys were doing 1.56s!! Had a couple of scary 2nd gear rear end slides but fortunately no major dramas.
